Herb Parsnip Fries

These Herb Parsnip Fries are a perfect Paleo alternative to traditional potato fries. They are seasoned with aromatic herbs and baked to crispy perfection using coconut oil. A flavorful and guilt-free snack or side dish!

Ingredients:

  • 4 parsnips, peeled and cut into fry-sized strips

  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil

  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 425F 220C


In a large bowl, toss the parsnip strips with melted coconut oil, dried rosemary, dried thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, and black pepper


Make sure the parsnips are well-coated with the seasoning mixture


Spread the seasoned parsnip strips in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat


Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the parsnip fries are golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through for even cooking


Remove the herb parsnip fries from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving
