Homemade Deviled Crab

This recipe for Homemade Deviled Crab is a tasty way to eat a lot of fresh crab meat. It's a great starter or main dish for seafood lovers because it has both savory seasonings and a creamy texture.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh crab meat

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375F 190C


In a large mixing bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, parsley, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper


Mix until well combined


Transfer the mixture into individual crab shells or ramekins, or into a baking dish


In a small bowl, mix Parmesan cheese and melted butter


Spread the cheese mixture over the crab mixture


Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly


Serve hot and enjoy!
